Another ferry from our ferry |
Toni managed to engage a Baht Bus for 100 Baht to take us directly to the Ferry , he took us to the more expensive ferry, we simply walked the 50m back to the normal ferry, paid our 30 Baht and jumped on board. Sitting up the back, we were assaulted with loud drinking Russians for the next 30 minutes, once we arrived, we were accosted by touts wanting to hire us a scooter. We took up the offer, Toni was keen to hop on and give it a try, I wanted to make sure we were outside the village away from the hurly burly (now that's a phrase you don;t here much these days) before having a go, fearlessly she jumped on and had a go,

driving up and down the deserted road a few times.
Over shoulder as we ride around. |
After her fun, we headed off to one of the several beaches, hired a beach recliner and umbrella for the day B150, and lazed about for a couple hours, waiters bringing drinks and food is you wanted.
Plenty of Russian eye candy |
Toni sampled the coconut milk from the end of the coconut and a beer before we jumped in for a swim in the clear water.
Toni enjoying the warm waters |
Getting bored with lazing about (who would have thought !) we decided to head off and explore the Island a little more
If you're looking for a quiet get away, Koh Larns easy accessibility mean the beaches are FULL

and it might not be for you, worth a look and a day trip for the ease though and a break from the bustle of Pattaya itself.
